Are your scissors really Japanese steel?

Yes. All Shear Shark scissors are hand-forged from high-carbon Japanese steel. This is the same grade of steel used by premium brands worldwide.

Do you offer left-handed scissors?

Yes — the Lefty Shark is a true left-handed cutting shear with proper left-hand blade orientation, not just a flipped right-handed scissor.

How often should I sharpen my scissors?

With daily professional use, Japanese steel scissors typically need sharpening every 6-12 months. Proper daily care (wiping, oiling) extends the time between sharpenings.

Do you offer trade/wholesale pricing?

Yes — we supply barber shops and salons across Ireland. Contact us at shearsharks@gmail.com for bulk pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, and PayPal.

Can I return a product?

Yes — unused products can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. See our Delivery & Returns page for details.

Do your clippers come with a warranty?

Yes — all clippers and electrical products come with the manufacturer's warranty. Contact us if you have any issues.

How do I look after my scissors?
